RCCHC is a primary care provider for citizens throughout the Roanoke-Chowan area. With primary care doctors in Ahoskie, Colerain, and Murfreesboro, RCCHC has the Roanoke-Chowan area covered. Our mission is to improve the health of people in our area by reducing health disparities, and a visit to RCCHC will show you just how serious we are about our mission.
We now offer an in-house pharmacy, located at the Ahoskie Comprehensive Care Center location. Angela Kent-Mitchell, your hometown pharmacist for years now, is now at RCCHC. Have your prescriptions filled right here in-house at RCCHC, or let us send your prescriptions to be filled at our area partner pharmacies.
As part of our commitment to provide high quality health care to the region, RCCHC initiated an aggressive campaign of identifying migrant and seasonal farm worker needs. The findings resulted in the development of a migrant outreach program utilizing mobile bilingual outreach workers and mobile clinicians to visit farms and housing sites and provide medical assistance and outreach services.
Our pediatric care is led by two pediatricians along with our primary care providers that work at the Pediatric Center at the Ahoskie Comprehensive Care Center and at the School-Based Health Center, located on the campus of Hertford County Middle School in Murfreesboro. Many health problems later in life can be prevented by quality pediatric care for your children.
