Our pediatric care is led by Jamande Jones, MD along with our primary care providers that work at the Pediatric Center at the Ahoskie Comprehensive Care Center and at the Hertford County Student Wellness Center, located on the campus of Hertford County Middle School in Murfreesboro. Many health problems later in life can be prevented by quality pediatric care for your children.

Pediatric Providers
Reach Out and Read
Ahoskie Comprehensive Care, Murfreesboro Primary Care, and Creswell Primary Care are high-quality programs for Reach Out and Read (ROR). That means that during regular Well Child Checks, our providers will advise parents about the importance of reading aloud, and give a developmentally-appropriate book to children ages birth to 5 years.
Little Free Libraries
Our clinics also have Little Free Libraries: a "take a book, return a book" free book exchange. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share. Our LFLs were built by a local Eagle Scout and painted by local artists in the style of their favorite children's books.
Story Book Trail
The Story Book Trail runs along the P.A.W. Path, beginning at the entrance by Ahoskie Comprehensive Care and the ECU Dental School. Walkers can enjoy stops with pages from children's storybooks posted, allowing families to follow the trail and read the story as they go. The book will change periodically, so you will always have something new to read!
